Ajay Devgn-Siddharth Malhotra's 'Thank God' ran into legal trouble. Director Indra Kumar, actors Ajay Devgan and Siddharth have filed a case in Jaunpur court
Petitioner's statement will be recorded on November 18. According to the petitioner, the trailer of the released film mocked religion and hurt religious sentiments.
"Chitargupta is regarded as the Lord of Karma and keeps a record of a man's good and bad deeds. Such a depiction of God can create an unpleasant situation.
The over three-minute trailer of the film begins with Siddharth's character getting into a car accident and then stepping into the game of life organized by Chitragupta, penned by Ajay.
Ajay also tells Siddharth in the trailer: "Tum teana ho insano ki sabse badhi galti kya hai? Tum bhagwan ko to mante ho, lekin bhagwan ki ek nahi mante."
