Google search was not working for some time this morning. Outage tracking website Downdetector.com confirmed the Google outage. It said there were more than 40,000 issues with Google Search. When a search was being made, Google servers were showing 502 error. “502. This is an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know,” the message prompt said.
Another notice said the following: “We’re sorry but it appears an internal server error occurred while processing your request. Our engineers have been notified and are working to resolve the issue. Please try again later.”
Additionally, the Google Trends service experienced a brief outage. The link was opening, but nothing showing the trend appeared in the window. However, the real-time trends were working properly. After a while, the service started again. Numerous users in India and other countries complained about Google’s error on Twitter.
For the first time, there was a bug in the Google search engine, the engine was completely shut down. It’s so rare that I first came to Twitter to see if something big was happening on the web. Conspiracy theories here we come! #google #error,” @RyanBakerSLO wrote on Twitter.
